I’m honoured to share that I’ve been selected as a Featured Artist in The Journal of Military, Veteran and Family Health (Vol. 11, Issue 5).
Last month, I announced that one of my photographs had been chosen for the cover of this issue. Today’s recognition highlights the story and intention behind that work, and it means a great deal as I continue to explore how photography can support reflection and wellbeing during periods of transition.
The Canadian Institute for Military and Veteran Health Research invited me to share the context in which the image was created, and how self-portraiture and mindful practice became part of my experience of medical release and identity change. I’m grateful for their support and for the opportunity to contribute to a journal that brings research and lived experience into conversation.

Thank you to the CIMVHR team for highlighting the work and for fostering a space where research, art, and lived experience can meet.
