Doors are part of everyday life. We pass by or through them constantly, usually without a second thought. Every now and then, though, one makes me stop: because of its scale, craftsmanship, colour, wear, or the marks left by time or human hand.
Door Studies collects those moments. Some doors are monumental; others ordinary and worn by use. Each carries traces of the people who made, used, altered, or abandoned it. Photographed across different places and cultures, these are less about cataloguing doors than noticing when something familiar suddenly becomes worth a second look.
