I am a Canadian fine art photographer based in Kingston, Ontario.
After a thirty-year career as a Royal Canadian Air Force search and rescue pilot, retiring at the rank of Colonel, I now use photography to navigate my transition to civilian life while living with PTSD.
Working with both digital and analog processes, including pinhole and alternative printing, I create projects that weave together personal history, mindful practice, and psychological landscapes that explore themes of isolation, fragility, and resilience.
My research-led practice is shaped by graduate study in Photography at Falmouth University (UK), where I focus on sustainable approaches to production and dissemination within contemporary photographic practice.
Current work includes Meditations on the Rideau, a long-form analog meditation on water, time, and sustainability.
